A little over one hour from Geneva airport and you are in the alpine village of Chatel in the heart of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area which straddles the French/Swiss border

Chalet le Chatelard

Le Chatelard is a traditional alpine chalet but with 20th century facilities. It is one of a group of 10 chalets lying on the edge of the village next to the river Dranse. The free shuttle bus stops outside the door winter and summer, and the supermarket and one of Chatel's better restaurants are a few minutes walk away.
